Delta, a global provider of power and thermal management solutions, announced it will showcase smart and integrated energy-saving solutions for electric vehicle (EV) charging at eMove360 Europe. Key highlights from its portfolio include the new DC 100kW EV charger and the 150kW DC Ultra-Fast EV Charger. The new DC 100kW EV charger is equipped with two DC charging guns and one AC outlet, thus, being capable of charging three EVs at the same time. The 150kW DC Ultra-Fast EV charger is a system that offers a modular, scalable power architecture and the ability to charge four EVs simultaneously, and can provide 100km range within fifteen minutes of charging. It boasts six charging guns that are compatible for two DC and two AC charges at the same time. Also shown will be the new 100kW Power Conditioning System (PCS), which is a flexible bi-directional conversion system that converts power between energy storage and the electricity grid, along with energy and grid power quality management features.
Availability of IO-Link® communications for ASCO Numatics™ Sentronic Plus and Sentronic LP proportional pressure control valves increases reliability and reduces maintenance time
Portescap will be offering 2 more new length sizes under its ECT range of Ultra EC™ Brushless Slotless motors: the 35mm 22ECT35 and the 48 mm 22ECT48. These new 22ECT motors along with higher torque capacity are light in weight and come in a compact package which helps in further miniaturization of the customer application.
Data centres exist all over the world, not only as stand-alone operations but also in many other types of activity. These include banks, insurance companies, industrial companies, hospitals, airports, energy suppliers, administrations, etc. The enormous energy requirements of these data centres confront both operators and energy suppliers with major challenges. Additional factors which can randomly lead to problems and serious damage are becoming more and more the focus of attention. As shown in this use case the HuiShang bank in Hefei in the Anhui province in China decided to invest further in securing its 24/7 operations. To do this, they installed extra equipment to monitor the electrical power quality.
A total of 230 guests from the fields of science, business and politics celebrated the founding of the new Eplan office in Shanghai, China, on 8 June. During the special ceremony, Eplan Managing Director Haluk Menderes spoke about the future of Eplan, which is the leading provider of engineering software solutions in Europe: “We will continue to grow in China – the conditions for it are excellent.”
With the NORDAC BASE – SK 180E, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS offers an ATEX-compliant, decentralised frequency inverter that not only is particularly economical in operation but also comes in protection class IP 69K. This guarantees the complete sealing of the housing, even for processing applications which require frequent high pressure cleaning.
Digital device data is the key element for efficient engineering. One of the biggest challenges for this is both the data quality and the depth of said data. The Eplan Data Portal is rising to this challenge: since the beginning of the year, the portal is being updated on a monthly basis. Users now also have a rating function for reviewing device data, thereby offering manufacturers practice-based feedback from the market. Furthermore, since the Hannover Messe, Lab Versions of the Eplan Data Portal allow users to try out the latest features.
In the field of heavy current measurement, current transformers are essential. Among the important parameters are reliability and accuracy, to guarantee very lengthy service life. A measurement device like this one from Camille Bauer Metrawatt AG, developed and manufactured in Switzerland, normally always needs one current transformer for each conductor, which is why these products are so important.
Functional safety of plant and machinery is of vital importance in production. With the SK TU4-PNS PROFIsafe interface module, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS provides even greater safety. The optional module meets the most stringent safety requirements, enables flexible integration of various safety components and ensures secure communication in PROFINET environments.
